        This VERY SPECIAL Raffle is to benefit ADV research at U of GA in the Memory of White Russian, an extremely special ferret who was the "SpokesFerret" for ADV, the FACE of ADV, if you will, until ADV finally beat him on May 8, 2002.

        The Quilt was made by Ardith...
        The brain child of "Mr. Anonymous"...
        With a few tweaks and ideas from Kat...
        And then Ardith's creativity and expertise...
        Then Wolfy was dragged into it, too...;-)

        The total money raised with this Raffle for ADV Research
        in White Russian's name was
        $1,769.00...

         [I need to explain to the ppl at the Symposium that I made an error when I had the totals announced there...while figuring the total dollar amount for the tickets sold at the shows...I had only brought the names and ticket numbers with me to Atlanta..so I had to get the dollar amount by taking the number of tickets sold and figuring...but I had forgotten about the 'Super Special of 30 tickets for $20.00'...therein lay my $50.00 error in the total.]

        I would also like to take this opportunity to thank a few people for making this possible...

        1st...Mr. Anonymous...for the original idea...

        next...Ardith for making the fabulous quilt...

        next...the shows that graciously allowed us to show the afghan and raise funds there...

        and Wolfy and myself and ALL the rest of the people and ferrets that helped to promote it...

        next...of course, Judy Gronwold for allowing us to do this of White Russian...even tho it caused her understandable pain to go thru it...

        and finally and MOST IMPORTANTLY....ALL of you who bought the tickets... without YOU...this would never have been the fantastic success it has been...
